Agent Runtime
Vendor-neutral Task and Goal contracts for short-lived and long-lived agent work, with acceptance criteria, evidence, and a durable journal.
Two work contracts
Task is bounded atomic work with explicit acceptance: a versioned manifest, instructions, a command, allowed exit codes and expected output, and limits on time, context, and output.
- Go packages for embedding
- reference CLI
- JSON Schema for the manifest
- lifecycle events with redaction
- rejection of unknown fields and versions
Goal is complex or long-running work with a versioned journal, a living acceptance checklist, ordered phases, and machine-verifiable receipts.
Boundaries
The first release describes the boundary between the control plane and an already installed agent. It does not implement a model provider, a tool protocol, a scheduler, or an operating-system sandbox. The code is published under AGPL-3.0.
