Open system adoption and integration
Engineering tools with published source are presented alongside adoption, customization and support for open systems. Work starts from the target environment, existing workflow and licence requirements, and the relevant project’s implementation and upstream dependencies define the available starting point. For the selected system, integration scope, configuration, verification and technical handover are agreed. Public examples include GitHub Device Sync, setup-system repositories and nremote. Published source is distinct from a hosted service. Third-party ownership, attribution and licence obligations continue to apply, and the individual project pages describe those boundaries. The task, existing systems and constraints are used to define a useful next step.
