Reproducible Developer Environment
Plan-first bootstrap for macOS and Ubuntu together with lightweight system monitoring and a shared local metrics protocol.
macOS and Ubuntu bootstrap
Plan first, then apply and verify the device state: Apple Silicon macOS, Ubuntu workstations and servers. The device class determines what is allowed on it: source analysis, local builds, a remote workstation, or a server.
Each profile gets a terminal environment, code analysis tools, language servers, and an AI coding CLI; tool versions are pinned.
rldyour-sysinfo
System metrics from a single Rust daemon on Linux, macOS, and Windows: a GNOME Shell indicator, a macOS menu bar client, and one versioned local JSON protocol for all platforms. The Python client is published on PyPI, and the daemon on crates.io.
Code and boundaries
The code is published under AGPL-3.0. AI coding CLI launchers select each tool’s unrestricted mode, so they should be used only on trusted machines and in trusted repositories.
